Professionally built S197 Mustang street/track car.

Based on a 2005 Ford Mustang GT Premium Auto.

This stunning car, nicknamed “Hell Yeah”, has had extensive, bespoke, hand-built modifications designed in collaboration and built with respected American V8 specialist Trevor Kitney of Surrey Mustang and now Kitney Motor Vehicle Technologies. The initial idea was to construct a head turning, ultra aggresive looking Mustang for street performance and regular track use, and naturally, like many good ideas, it got totally out of hand!

This car has featured in numerous magazine articles including American Car Magazine and Performance Car and is well known within the UK and international club and online Mustang scene. The current (2nd) owner runs wwws197.co.uk the only UK web forum dedicated to modern Mustangs. The car is driven regularly for fun, commuting and on track days, appearing at the Nordschleife circuit twice as well as numerous appearances at Goodwood, Mallory, Bedford and Silverstone etc.

Engine
Ford Mustang GT 4.6 V8 with Airaid CAI kit. Car supplied with SCT Tuner. Maintained regardless of cost by American V8 specialist Trevor Kitney at Surrey Mustang.

Transmission
Automatic.

Exhaust
Kitney design glasspack axle backs.

Suspension
FRPPSprings and shocks with Poly-bushed BMR Lower Control Arms. Exceptional handling on both track and road.

Safety
Non intrusive 'Safety Devices' roll cage installed by Surrey Mustang to give full protection whilst also stiffening the chassis to negate any flex that may occur under extreme driving conditions.

Brakes
Front rotors 15" diameter grooved AP Racing mounted on special anodised bells manufactured by Surrey Mustang. Front callipers are Wilwood 6 piston. Vented by grill fixed ducts to hub mounted vents. Rear brakes standard but vented via ducting from the clear lexan NACA ducts in rear quarter windows.

Wheels & Tyres
TSW Nürburgring wheels in anthracite (front 20 x 10, rear 20 x 11), 5 stud fixing. Toyo Proxes T1-R tyres (front 255/35 ZR20). Nexen N3000 (rear 285/30 ZR20).

Cabin
2 tone Nappa leather COBRA Misano LUX reclining sports seats with lightweight pure carbon fibre backrest. Full Sparco race harnesses along with original seatbelts for day-to-day driving. Custom Rear seat delete by Surrey Mustang. Shaker 1000 stereo with new head unit. Air con. MyColour™ dash etc.

Body Shell
Perhaps the most attention grabbing part of the car is the bespoke front end fabricated in original materials (steel. aluminium and plastic) by Trevor Kitney to extensive CAD designs and drawings inspired by the Iacocca 45th Anniversary Mustang. The front includes extended hood with functional vents. Extended and vented fenders with hidden repeaters and the one piece front bumper with massive 'mouth', stainless steel powdercoated grill with brake duct vents, integral extended splitter and housing for the custom built headlight surrounds and headlights. Carbon wing with custom support brackets. Surrey Mustang MK2 rear lights with integrated repeater/reversing lights.

Additional Information

All decals shown on the car can be safely removed prior to sale, depending upon the buyers requirements.

All the conversion work has been thoughtfully considered so that no part of the car has been altered that can't be put back to standard. No expense has been spared on this wonderful car, which has been looked after by Trevor Kitney (Bill Shepherd, Surrey Mustang, Kitney.biz) since 2006. It’s a motoring experience you just won’t get anywhere else. You’ll be hooked from the first drive and I truly believe the old adage - "first to see will buy".

Finally, this is an exceptionally fair price for such a lot of car, so whilst I am open to offers, please make them serious. Unfortunately I am not intersted in PX.

The car is located in Surrey, near Guildford and is about 30-40mins (depending upon traffic) from J10 of the M25. Viewing by prior arrangement for only the most serious.
